What dungeons should I do in Skyrim?
I've just started Skyrim.
I'm level 11 battlemage and just joined the College of Winterhold and the thieves guild. I've completed the main quest through returning the horn to the Greybeards. I want to know what dungeons and quests I should do. I want to get some good loot and level. I tried to do Volskygge but the Draugr mages were to strong with their frost autronachs.
Level Fast in Skyrim with our Strategy Guide!
I personally recommend doing the questlines before exploring random dungeons. The reason for this being that MANY of the dungeons are actually part of quests, and clearing them may render you unable to complete the associated quest if you try to enter the dungeon again before the NPC's respawn.
Here are some questlines you can do:
College of Winterhold (finish it)
Thieves Guild (finish it)
Companion's Guild
Dark Brotherhood
Civil War
Daedric Quests (these quests aren't "lines," but they give you the best items in the game)

Skyrim: How do I join the Dark Brotherhood?
I'd like to join it, but I don't know where to go and who to talk to. I think it's in Falkreath, am I right? I haven't actually travelled there yet.
Could someone please tell me the location and name of ther person I need to talk to to join, or at least get the quest for joining? Thanks!
Level Fast in Skyrim with our Strategy Guide!
Answer:
Any man or woman may join the Dark Brotherhood, provided they are efficient killers and skilled in the art of stealth. Initiates must also display the ability to kill mercilessly, without regret or sorrow. As a result, their ranks include Vampires, Werewolves, Bandits as well as Mages. While on your travels in Skyrim, go to any inn, and ask for the latest gossip from the innkeeper. The innkeeper may tell you that Aventus Aretino is trying to perform the Black Sacrament in Windhelm.Or, if you happen to be in Riften, speak to a man named Maul. He can usually be found standing against a post off to the left as soon as you enter the city. After sharing some tough words with you, he gives you information on both the Thieves Guild, and the Dark Brotherhood; for a price, of course. (If you pass a persuasion or intimidation speechcraft test or have an unusual gem to show off to Maul, this information is free). Sometimes a Windhelm town guard may mention that the Arentino boy is trying to summon the Dark Brotherhood, which will give you the miscellaneous objective as well. However you choose to initiate it, speaking with Aventus Aretino initiates the quest Innocence Lost and your plunge into the Dark Brotherhood. After accepting Aretino's proposal, visit the Honorhall Orphanage. Speak to the children there, and they will tell you Aventus Aretino escaped and planned to kill their caretaker, Grelod the Kind, by summoning the Dark Brotherhood. Kill Grelod (the children will cheer and celebrate once she's dead.)
After Innocence Lost has been completed, wait 24 hours and sleep in any bed. Or go to a different city and a courier will appear and give you a note with an imprint of a black hand (the infamous insignia of the Black Hand) and the words 'We know' written beneath it, obviously referring to your recent transgression of the law. Once you receive the note, find and sleep in any bed (the acquisition of this note is optional). Following your restful slumber, you are seemingly abducted by a Dark Brotherhood Assassin in your sleep, and wake up in an Abandoned Shack. (This is where you decide whether or not if you want to join or destroy The Dark Brotherhood). There, you are asked to kill one of three people in the room, initiating the quest With Friends Like These. Killing one, two, or even all of the potential victims will earn you an invitation to join the Dark Brotherhood. You may also take the opportunity to destroy the organization by attacking the Dark Brotherhood representative, Astrid. This will initiate the quest Destroy the Dark Brotherhood! (This is the only chance you will get to destroy the dark brotherhood because after you join, the Brotherhood members are otherwise unkillable.)
Killing a Dark Brotherhood Assassin (when attacked randomly, at a random location) holds no ramifications as the 5 Tenets have been abandoned.
There are no repercussions for sacrificing a Dark Brotherhood Initiate in Boethiah's Calling.
Werewolf status - if you are currently infected as a Werewolf you do not earn resting bonuses by sleeping in beds, although you can still sleep in them. This means you CAN initiate the meeting with Astrid as a werewolf.
Killing Astrid yields a pair of boots, enchanted with the Muffle ability. (This armor feature is also obtainable by joining the Thieves Guild and becoming a Nightingale . The Nightingale Armor features boots with the muffle ability.)

Skyrim: What is the best conjuration familiar?
I just got level 100 conjration and have done the phiinis gestor quest, now i need a good spell. I have a storm thrall in mind, but the thing is it takes ages to summon and uses up a lot of magicka. On the other hand, dremora lords are decent, but they only last for 2 minuites and most of the time they die when i summon them. In your opinion, what is your favourite spell and why?
Level Fast in Skyrim with our Strategy Guide!
Answer:
Either permanent storm atronach or dead thrall. Both of these summons are permanent, and the mana cost is irrelevant if you enchant your armor to get zero magicka cost as explained in a sub-section of this guide:
Regardless of what spells you use you should get the enchantments for unlimited magicka in the two schools of magic.
Storm Atronachs are the best atronachs that you can summon; their ranged attacks are powerful and they're much more resilient than flame atronachs. Dead thrall is fantastic because you can reanimate dead NPC's and they'll fight for you. Several of these thralls can be VERY powerful; there are hundreds of options and the debate for the best one is large, but that is a topic for another question. I'll just say it's amusing getting two Master Conjurers - lets just say that your summons will in turn be summoning.

Answer: I know this isn't the answer you want, but sincerely:
Don't stress with leveling, it will come naturally as you play -and enjoy- the game.
Skill boosting is a little more important but it depends on which one you wanna boost and there is no room for that in here. really, just play naturally. The game adapts to your level so it's not that important to do, especially that early in the game.

How do I enchant a bow on skyrim?
I dont mind what bow it is, i just want to enchant it with fire. Im not entirely sure how i do this.
Im currently level 24.
Level Fast in Skyrim with our Strategy Guide!
Answer: I couldnt figure it out for a while either but heres what to do
#1 buy/find a weapon with a fire enchant ment
#2 get whatever bow u want(cant be enchanted already)
#3 go to arcane enchanter (thers 1 in dragonsreach where the court wizard usually is)
#4 go to disenchant and select the weapon with fire enchantment to learn it(this will destroy the item) (it wont disenchant if u already know the enchantment
#5 go to item and select ur bow
#6 go to enchantment select fire and push the slider across to determine how strong it is(weaker enchantments get more charges befor needing to be recharged but they r extremely weak)
#7 go to soul gems the higher the soul gem the more powerful the enchantment(in orderof power black soul gem>grand soul gem>greater soul gem>common soul gem>lesser soul gem>petty soul gem.)if it says grand soul gem(grand) it means its fulled with a grand soul if it says grand soul gem (common) it only has the power of a common soul gem(this is with all soul gems not just grand)
#8down the bottom it will say (button u need to push depending on console) enchant push that button
#9 when the enchantments run out go to weapons go to ur bow down the bottom left it will say(button you need to push dependin on console) recharge push that and choose the filled soul gem u want to use to recharge(now choosing a weak soulgem wont affect the power of enchnatment just how much recharge it gets it usualy take more than one soul gem)
important tip:enchant one of ur weapons with soul trap it will full an empty soul gem and if u buy empty soul gems and fill them yourself it saves up to 600 gold per gem(ur gonna need heaps of soul gems in skyrim im talkin hundreds so it saves heaps all added up) if u still dont fully understand comment on one of my questions and i will make a vid post it on youtube and give u the link hope this helped it was hard to write and took ages.

Whats the fastest way to level up in skyrim?
I just bought the game and wondered if there are any fast ways to level up?
Level Fast in Skyrim with our Strategy Guide!
Answer: Smithing is one way to get a quick jump start on leveling up. Collect as many hides and iron ingots as you can, turn the hides into leather and leather strips. Once you have a good amount of these elements, go to a forge and craft a bunch of leather bracers and iron daggers (this will level you up several times), and if you want to take it further, you can collect soul gems as well and go to an enchanting table and place any minor enchantments on your created items, you can then get more xp by selling them to shops. Also, if you complete the dark brotherhood questline, you will receive Shadowmere (a horse) who is very tough, once you own him you can sit and attack (w/magic or any weapons, just watch his health so you don't kill him, also your own health as he will attack you back). Then once his health gets low, just rest for 1 hour to heal him and yourself and repeat. There are some other ways, but I think these are the 2 easiest methods, hope this helps.

I don't know how to tell which stone I'm under now.

Answer:
Bring up your menu, go to magic. At the bottom of the list there should be an "active effects" option, when you go here you can scroll down through all active enchantments (with the description telling what it is from), here you should find the blessing you have active.

I just beat the main quest so whats the 2nd most important?
Level Fast in Skyrim with our Strategy Guide!
Answer:
I suppose the civil war quests are also fairly important to the story of Skyrim (Stormcloaks vs. Empire); if you haven't done that, you should pick a side and join up to counter the other side.
After that, everything else is just up to you, whether you want to do it or not. The Dark Brotherhood quests are fun though, in my opinion.

In skyrim can you do the Imperial Army or the Stormcloak quest after the truce?
I was just wondering I want to save my game now and do all the stuff I didn't want to do like choose a side and thief's guild ect for the achievements then when I get them re-load and still end the game feeling morally sound. In the main quest I am right before you trap the dragon.
Level Fast in Skyrim with our Strategy Guide!
Answer: Yes, you can. The truce storyline is just a part of the main quest; once you pass that part the two sides start fighting again. If you've already reunited Skyrim in favor of either the Imperial Legion or the Stormcloaks, you actually get to skip the truce quest altogether.

How is this build in skyrim?
The funnest skills for me were conjuration and sneak. I'm planning to do this build: conjuration, sneak, light armor, smith, archery. Can I still stealth kill if I have summons running around and how good is this build? What is the best race for this build?
Level Fast in Skyrim with our Strategy Guide!
Answer: Breton is the best race imo due to the resistances and magic bonus. but really any race can be good at any build it just takes a bit more effort in getting them there. with the exception of high elves, worst race ever! lol

What is the 3rd most important mission in skyrim?
I beat the main quest and I beat the war as a storm cloak. So now what should I do?
Level Fast in Skyrim with our Strategy Guide!
Answer: How about not following any of the main quests at all? Go out into the mountains and see what you can find. There are 13 daedric shrines to find, each with their own mission. There are also villagers that need help. You will even find tombs and dungeons with people inside who have missions for you to do. Or go in search of the 8 dragonpriest masks and return them all to Labyrinthian.

How do I upgrade orange and purple perks on the perk tree in skyrim?
Im a lvl 9 redguard and im trying to get my smithing up but it wont let me upgrade dwarven smithing, because it says it requires smithing 20 and requires 20. I would really like to know what that requires 20 means. Is it overall level or what? Thanks!
Level Fast in Skyrim with our Strategy Guide!
Answer: It means requires 20 smithing not level 20 but make sure you have a perk point to spend to get it because that might be your problem (get perk points by leveling up) also be sure you get steel smither first or it wont let you get dwarven smithing.

I can enchant armor to fortify smithing by 25%. Now can I use that on every piece of armor to get a 150% increase or is the max 100%?
Level Fast in Skyrim with our Strategy Guide!
Answer: You can only use fortify smithing on four pieces. Those four pieces would be:

So yes, the max is 100%. Although you could use a max strength fortify smithing potion.

How do you tell the amount of health the ebony blade saps in Skyrim?
I understand that you have to kill buddies to upgrade it but it doesn't say anywhere how much health it is sapping at the moment. Is there any way to tell?
Answer:
All weapons have statistics showing how much health they sap from opponents look in your inventory list. Also the health of your opponent appears at the top of the game screen with a red fill bar, so you can visual see how much damage your opponent is taking.

Need HELP with Skyrim? Check out the Skyrim Leveling Guide Here!
Answer: I'd say Wood Elf, they have naturally high Archery, and Sneak is easily trained If your looking for a Stealth and Archery loadout, go do the thieves guild missions in riften... You get the Nightengale armour, and when you finish the final mission, the Nightengale Bow, which has great bonuses...
P.S. Daedric Bows are better, and you can enchant them yourself, but they require 90 Smithing

You get the Nightengale armour, and when you finish the final mission, the Nightengale Bow, which has great bonuses...
P.S. Daedric Bows are better, and you can enchant them yourself, but they require 90 Smithing

What is the biggest and most impressive house in Skyrim?
I want to know What the Biggest house in Skyrim is ,and also which house has the best layuout, so the best interior and best furniture, and features like Alchemy lab or a Blacksmith anvil or something. Thanks.
Answer: Proudspire manor in Solitude is the most "Impressive" looking in terms of fancy furniture and stuff. It's a stone house, so it's a little prettier than the others. It has 3 levels and alchemy and enchanting areas and 2 mannequins. A few weapon racks, but no display cases.
Hjerim in Windhelm has a more straightforward layout, though, (2 levels and each floor is very roomy and open) and definitely the most display cases, storage, and is probably the most impressive in terms of having an actual armory. It has 3 mannequins and tons of weapon racks. Plus it has a "secret" alchemy/enchanting section, which some players like. Best house if you want to show off your weapons.
Vlindrel Hall in Markarth is smaller than the other two, only one level, but has a very nice layout as well and very well thought out alchemy and enchanting rooms. One mannequin, lots of space for books if you care about collecting those, and I think there's like one dagger display case and a weapon rack or 2.
None of the houses have a blacksmith forge. You have to make use of the ones at the smithy in each city.
