What are the pros and cons of being a vampire in skyrim?

I need help ive been a warewolf but now i want to be a vampire were are they located and what does it turn into and what kind of powers do you have

Answer: In order to become a Vampire, you'll need to be 'bitten' by one. This can happen randomly when fighting them. When you are bitten by one you'll notice that you have the 'Sanguinare Vampiris' disease that will eventually turn into full Vampirism if not cured in 48 hours.

In my opinon there seriously isn't much of a pro for Vampirism. It's fun running around biting people and you do get some pretty decent abilities (see: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Vampi… for the various stages)

BUT...

With the need to feed every 96 hours (4 days) before townsfolk start attacking you it makes fast traveling a pain as you'll need to be careful that you don't fast travel somewhere and wind up in stage 4. It can happen pretty quick if you are bouncing around the map a lot (for example, to fast travel between Riften and Markarth takes 54 hours)

Fun to try out tho, I'd recommend giving it a go, you can always cure yourself of it down the road.

You just have to explore my friend, there is a way of getting some help.

If you look in certain places where the jarls usually are and some camps, you will find maps laid out on a table with little flags pinned on locations, if you click on the locations on the maps it updates your map with that location, you find these maps in many places, all with different locations on them.

So far ive found 283 locations and ive done everything, but im still finding places which is what keeps the game going.

Answer:
Destruction is really kinda weak. Except for modest damage increases with perks, they never get more powerful as you level up, but your enemies keep getting stronger as you do. Mods have corrected some of this imbalance for PC users, fortunately.

I prefer Conjuration and Alternation --- specifically, zombies and telekinesis.

When you go to a blacksmith's shop, bey all their leather and leather strips. Use a tanning rack to even thre two out until you have about twice as many strips. Now, you can make tons of Leather Bracers! (1 leather, 2 leather strips). They are much more valuable than Hide bracers, even though the material is the same. If you can make about 15-20, you'll probably increase smithing by a level or two, and then you can sell them all for about a hundred-two hundred septims. Not a bad refund.

Also, Get the Ohgma Infinium, and read the Path of the Warrior (increases smithing and many other skills by 5 each! awesome!), which is a Daedric artifact you get once you complete the quest 'Discerning the Transumndane'. Start it by going to Septimus Signus' outpost (Just north of the College of Winterhold, in one of the glaciers)

Or, I like going into the wild and collecting Furs. Whiterun Hold, The Reach, and the Rift have pretty heavily forested areas, and lots af animals to hunt. Clear out most of your inventory and go on a hunt. This will result in TONS of leather.

Its on the docks of Windhelm, I believe there's a door to it in the Grey District (The Dunmer area) I think you can see it from the bridge/stables and it's also where the East Empire warehouse is. (iirc)
Its pretty much across the river area from the stables and has a few boats docked there.
Shahvee should be working on the leather tanning rack there.
I've also heard a few people complaining about her though, because you need to do her 'Favour quest' to get her to marry you and she sometimes doesn't give you the choice it start the quest.

It's totally worth finishing the campaign, you get cool shouts, and other cool stuff. After that, you should join the Dark Brotherhood, or theives guild. I have an account where I am a level 38 nord, beaten everything love it. Now I started a new game and I am a level 8 Breton. I am done with the war.

To be honest armor doesn't matter much, just get daedric weapon of your choice enchant (at level 100) with Drain Health & Fire/Frost/Lightning damage.

Drain health is can be found or by starting the "Destroying the dark brotherhood quest" or completing the dark brotherhood quests.

Answer:

You need leather strips and iron ingots for a dagger. Go to a forge and select use forge, then go to the "iron" option in the menu and choose iron dagger.

If you with to improve it go over to the grindstone which should be around the forge, and select the item and then choose craft to improve. You will need an iron ingot for this too.

Forges are in all the major towns. The one in whiterun is probably the first you came across, and is on the right of where you come in/ fast travel to.

Getting your Speechcraft up is very handy. More money from sales, items are less expensive.
1. Go to Riften, find the Black-Briar meadery.
2. Find Ungrien, a Bosmer/Wood elf usually at the front counter.
3. Talk to him and ask him about Maven Black-Briar, then persuade him to tell you the truth.
4. Do this over and over again and you'll get 100 speech.
5. Put some skills into Speechcraft and you'll get great prices!

The "Strange Amulet" glitch is good too.
1. Progress through the "Blood on Ice" quests to the point that you have obtained the "Strange Amulet"
2. Bring the amulet to Calixto before accusing the murderer.
3. He will give you money for it.
4. Pick-pocket the amulet from Calixto.
5. He will give you money for it.
6. Repeat.

There is also the skeleton's book glitch.
1. Find the dead skeleton on a stone tablet slightly south of Sightless Pit.
2. Take his "Doors to Oblivion" book.
3. Exit his inventory.
4. Re-open his inventory and take the book again.
5. Do this as many times as you like (he will never disappear).
6. Sell all the copies of the book you've taken.
7. Repeat as many times as you want.

If you are on PC you can use console commands.
1. Press "~" (opens console)
2. Type "player.additem f x", x being the amount of gold you want.

There are also merchant chests for every merchant in Skyrim. Some are accessible through glitches but I'm not sure how to do them. Try checking YouTube, I'll update this answer if I find out.

EDIT:
By using the noclip command (PC only) you can access the chests under shops.
I found out how to get the chest of Ahkari, a Khajiit merchant, without noclipping.
1. Travel to Dawnstar Mines.
2. To the left of it you will find some trees and rocks.
3. Crouch around the rocks until you find the option to search an invisible chest.
4. Inside the invisible chest will be Ahkari's inventory.
5. You can take the contents without it being counted as theft.
6. To reset the contents of the chest, just ask Ahkari what he has to sell. There is a Thieves Guild quest attached to him if you're having problems finding him.
7. Sell everything you took from him (besides anything you want to keep).
8. Repeat.

Why are the Whiterun guards in Skyrim trying to kill me?

So, after I fast traveled to Whiterun, the guards all of a sudden tried to attack me. I haven't done anything. I've resisted temptations of stealing and murder but yet, they still try to kill me. There's not enough information on what you've done besides not stealing, there are MANY other reasons why people would want to kill you once they see you. All i can think of is that you've contracted the Vampire virus that makes all Npc's hostile if the virus is not cured.

Well if you travel south through a no clipping cheat in the PC version you will notice that much of Tamreal is actually there and the geography is correct but no buildings or really anything other than hills are there... Talk to people around the cities, and talk to everyone in the inns inside those cities. I received one from the owner of the inn in Riften. Also, talk to the Thane of cities, the Jarl himself, or the Jarl's court master. If you talk to enough people, your bound to get one. Also, hang around Riften a lot. The majority of Dragon Bounty quests that I have received have been from Riften.

I accidentally married someone in Skyrim and i want to marry someone else. I can't kill my wife because she is a main character. Is there any other way to remarry?


Answer:
Unfortunately, you cannot remarry. Once you marry anyone, it is irreversible; however, you can use the console command to "force marry," but beware it can cause weird bugs.

Click on person desired to marry and type "addfac 19809 1" without quotes.
The console command is accessed by the tilde key.

If you're using the XBox, there is nothing you can do. Sorry!
