In skyrim how many missions do you have to do for the companions before you become a werewolf?

Answer: You must become a part of the Companion's Circle to gain access to the Underforge where you can become a werewolf. The main quests you must complete are: Take Up Arms (Prove you are worthy to join the Companions), and Proving Honor (Claim a Fragment of Wuuthrad from Dustman's Cairn). These don't take very long and you will soon be part of the Circle.

A tip though- when you become a werewolf, you are immediately brought to a mission to wipe out the Silver Hand leader at Gallow's Rock. I wouldn't go into beast mode during that mission because the leader, Krev the Skinner, is nearly impossible to beat in beast mode.

How do I join the Thieves guild in Skyrim?

I already did the mission where you have to steal the vendor's ring and plant it on the other vendor, but I'm stuck after that. I have no objective pertaining to the thieves guild at all, and I've tried looking up walkthroughs, but Brynjolf doesn't show up at the Ragged Flagon. Answer: First, enter Riften and find Brynjolf. He should be in the townsquare. He'll be at his stall during the day, Talk to him and complete his quest (it does not matter whether you succeed or fail, Brynjolf will still ask you to meet him in the Ratway).

After doing his quest he will ask you to meet him in the bar called "The Ragged Flagon" Located underneath Riften, in the Ratway.

Talk to him in the Flagon and that will start the "Taking Care of Business" quest. Complete this and return to Brynjolf and you will be a member of the Thieves Guild.

Does Skyrim end when you finish the last main quest?

I was wondering if there would be free-play to finish all the side quests when the main campaign ends and you kill Alduin or will the entire game just stop and you will need to start another skyrim acc.

Answer: No, you can still play all the side quests. I finished the main quest in about 25-30 hours, but then spent anouther 20 to 30 hours on my first character doing the Companions quest line and the Stormcloaks quest line. There are still dragons to slay as well, so you'll still have Dragon Souls to use, unlike Oblivion that cut you off from Sigil Stones once you Mahrunes Dagon was defeated.

How to kill the unkillables in Skyrim for Ps3?

Oftentimes in Skyrim, I'll save my game and then go on a bloody rampage through a town, killing everybody. I did this today in Riverwood. I killed the Valerians, cleared the Streets of all Town Guard, and proceeded into the inn. I killed everybody there, except for Delphine, who got up and started fighting again... and again... and again, until I finally died. Is there any way to fix this on a Ps3 so that I can finally have the satisfaction of killing everyone in Riverwood?

Answer: If there is a way to kill them they are not unkillable, and if they are unkillable you can not kill them any way.

Of course! choosing your race just decides what skills you start with higher. As a wood elf, your Archery may have started higher, but that doesn't mean you can raise your destruction, illusion, etc. as you want.

Answer: I know initially he goes to the jail, but after he is apprehended he does disappear. That is because Grey Mane becomes the new jarl.

Answer: Find caves to explore. Usually you'll come across low level bandits or something that you can kill and up you level. Try picking the locks of easy chests and stuff too. Bottom line: keep wandering and exploring and your levels will progress!

Answer: There are three option that I currently know of:

1) Use a Level up to increase stamina. +5 carrying capacity per level up
2) Activate the Steed Guardian Stone. +100 carrying capacity and armour has no weight when worn
3) Get the Extra Pockets perk. +100 carrying capacity

Answer: Well honestly that will be more of your decision but i suggest Sylgja from Shore Stone a little up north from Riften She is a miner and very humble and also easy to get marry 2 she asks you to deliver a package to her family and after you come back and give her some letters her parents sent she will be interested in you and also this might be helpful if you dont own a home she owns one and she lets you live there and if you decided to move she sells diff stuff therefore she still provides you with money the only problem with her is that she is always wearing mining clothes.

Answer: There's Talos shines in a lot of places not just Whiterun, but you don't NEED a talos shrine, any ole shrine will do.
Anyway, if you follow the road from the entrance to the market, take a left, then head up the stairs, you'll see a tree with a little moat around it lookin all pretty and stuff. Walk around it to the right, and you'll see (and hear) a guy preaching in front of the altar. There'll be a cross in front of it- click it. Shazam, disease free.

Answer: It should still work, you can absorb the word, you just kill a dragon to activate it.There have been some glitches where a word wont be absorbed when you approach the wall. If that happens try reloading a save and try again.

Answer: Yeah you can, normal armour that isn't enchanted in anyway doesn't provide any stat bonuses, so you can just heavy armour rather than hide or leather, but last in the game, if you want to focus primarily on archery, the gear with the best archery enhancing enchantments will be hide and leather, and hopefully if you had put your perks in those skills then the armour would be even MORE effective.

Answer: Sheathing your weapons should work, but sometimes they kill you anyway. The other options is to run, if you come back after a few game days they should leave you alone. Though if you are arrested for another crime you will need to pay the previous bounty too. Or, you can join the theives guild, they can clear all of your bounty for any crime.

Answer: You can't until you kill Alduin. If your having trouble then lower the difficulty or if you still can't do it, revert to a previous save before you entered the portal.

What would be the best race for a conjuration build on Skyrim?

I was wondering what would be best race for conjuration on Skyrim where summons are cast and bound sword and a shield is used?

Answer: I think an orc would be a great choice, with bound sword too much mana will not be needed to get the job done. When you use bound sword, the one handed skill will also get up at the same time, so if you plan on using bound sword, raise your one handed before you are able to get bound sword. I would suggest a heavy armor build if you are using melee weapons.

In skyrim there are potions that add a percentage to certain skills, I was just wondering on how they affected your skills. Say you had level 100 smithing, would a potion that increased smithing by 50% be equal to adding 50 more points into smithing?

Effective Skill = Base Skill * ( 1 + Potion% )

So if you have a base skill of 100, and a potion of 37, it's 100 * 137% = 137.

Answer: Yes, I actually "missed" my wedding and when I went back everyone was mad at me, but eventually forgave me. Then I went and found someone knew to marry. If you wanted to you could even go back and marry the same person you stood up the first time.

Answer: You're probably stuck at Mzulft if memory serves me right, but the only way to enter is to join the college of Winterhold then when you need to get the staff of magnus in one of your missions you are sent to Mzulft after entering the first door, there is a dead guy outside the second door (a mage) if you search him you should find the key into Mzulft. I don't think there is any other way in.

Answer: There is a guy in Riverwood, his name does not come to mind, but he is a wood elf with some arrows in a quiver on his back. When you find him, he might have a quest for you if I remember right, maybe not. Talk to him, ask if he can show you to train archery, he says it'll cost you a small fee, Every time you pay him, you level up. Pay him until you run out of money, then ask if you can trade with him, take back your gold, and do it again.

Sneaking, no fast way comes to mind, just go walk around enemies while sneaking i guess.

If you talk to the characyers in the game that you come across, they should explain that stuff to you. In a nutshell, the Elder Scroll is the essential tool to being able to defeat Alduin. You need it to accomplish a certain task to learn the the word of power, Dragonrend, from the three heroes.
This brings us to the next part of your question. Dragonrend is one of the shouts, or words of power. It was created by mortals to defeat Alduin. As you should know, shouts are words in the dragon tongue. When it was used on Alduin, he was able to be defeated because he was not familiar with this word. When fighting a dragon, you can use this shout to force the dragon to land and then attack them.
To answer the third part of your question, in a way, there's really no good or bad dragons. In the game, Parthunaax explains that dragons were made to more or less conquer mankind.Dovs, is the plural form of dovah, which means dragon. Your character is known as the Dovahkiin, which means Dragonborn.

Join the theives guild, the dark brotherhood or the companions (see wiki on how to join). I really thought the main quest ending was very unclimatic. I think you will really like the last dark brotherhood quest.... Lets just say someone very important will be facing the pointy end of your blade.......

Another option is to Go back to the starting city and if you exit the tavern to the left you will see that the building nextdoor is suddenly available for entry. Enter the building and you will find the village whore, who for, depending on what type of character you possess will charge you a certain amount of money for her dirty deeds. If you successfully complete the sex mini-game you will unlock the "six-inch sword" achievement and gain a ton of xp.

Answer: You can get married anytime and anywhere. First you must have an amulet of Mara to get married. To get this amulet you either have to complete the Book of Love quest or you can purchase one from Maramal, who is a monk in the temple of mara in riften for 200 septims. The amulet gives certain new dialogue options with various NPCs in the game. You have to do a quest for the person first, then it will give you the option to propose marriage.

1-...I think I learned a spell from the sorcerer in dragonsreach in winterun (the guy in the dark bluey robes) by buying a book which gave me an ability to fill a soul gem if I kill the enemy within a time bracket (aint used it yet so thats all I got unforunately) and it should be under....powers?...i think anyway.

Answer: If I had to choose the best clothing I have found in Skyrim is the hooded Thalmor robe that you can get by looting of the body of one of the Thalmors that you kill in the Diplomatic Immunity quest. It looks similar to Etzio Auditore's clothes in Assasins creed, they are black an look very good for a assasin character.

Answer: It really depends on who you are planning on fighting the most, and how you fight. The fire enchantment will make your enemy take damage for an extended period of time, so you can go in, slash a few times, and then stay away while they burn. Frost damage also takes away fatigue points, making it really good for fighting enemies that have a lot of HP so they stop doing as much damage. Shock enchant does magicka damage, so its really good against wizards. Take this advice into consideration, and come up with the one that fits your constant enemy list or playstyle the best.

Should I explore caves in Skyrim or wait for there missions?

Answer: I suggest you just explore the caves . The vast majority of caves, tombs and castles don't have quests attached to them. The whole idea behind the Elder Scrolls game is exploration. Where is the Khajiit merchant who sells lockpicks in Elder Scrolls: Skyrim?

I'm looking for lockpicks and I've heard that there is a Kahajit merchant who sells a ton of them outside of Whiterun. Where exactly is he, because I can't find him. Or is this even true?

Answer: There are only certain times a day to find him, basically just hit the time waiting button and keep aiming for around 11am -4pm and wait a few seconds for the game to register whos in the area and he should be sitting on the floor outside of the gate.

But I recommend the merchants that visit dawn star because that kahajit carries from 25-40 lockpicks.

Answer: You cannot have babies in the game, and to get rid of your wife she has to die someway. Ysolda is the one I chose to marry and she will give you 100 gold every day. It adds up over days. e.g. 4 days=400 gold, but not quite sure what the most profitable marriage is yet in Skyrim.

Answers: They both deal heavily in stealth, so they are similar in that, but nothing else. Thieves are more focused on stealing without being seen. Assassins are meant to get in, and get out like a shade, while taking out their intended target.

I dont know about the farming but to have a marriage in skyrim you have to speak with maramal about the cult of Mara. then you can but amulet of mara for 200 gold from him (when you equip this amulet it opens new diolog for certain NPC's one of those NPC's is lydia

also- maramal at the bee and barb inn of riften town, or in riftens temple of mara

How should i upgrade my Redguard on Skyrim?

I want to know what skills i should upgrade first as I am playing skyrim. I'm only level 5 but only upgrading the single handed perks. I want to know if i should upgrade anything else. Any suggestions? Also I want to work towards dragonscale armor.

Perks into heavy armor, 1 hand weapon, blacksmith, block, and alchemy for healing pots. Shouts instead of magic... Use only heavy armor a 1 hand weapon (whatever you want to spec in sword or mace or axe.) Use shield for blocking and collect materials for potions as you quest and explore.
when you get a level move up in health if your having to use alot of potions or stamina if your running out of stamina when making attacks with your 1 hand weapon. Don't level magic at all.

Skyrim is looking to be a rediculously beautiful game. It will take a PC rig of top notch quality to run it on settings that do it justice. If you prefer computer gaming and the rig can handle it, you have your answer right there. However, there are a few key points that a console will bring over a PC with a game like Skyrim. First for me is I'm just plain prejudice towards consoles, controllers are way more comfortable and allow you to sit back in a recliner to play. Second is Skyrims new hand control feature. The left and right bumpers will perform actions for your avatars left and right hands (respectivley), so you can have two spells, two swords, a sword and a spell, a shield and a spell, you get the idea, so it might be a little difficult to pull this of ona keyboard/mouse setup. Thirdly I'm asuming your TV is bigger than you PC screen, think how Skyrim will look a big screen doing it justice than your PC screen. And lastly, PS3 has the PSN network so DLC content is right at your fingertips when it comes out.

How come my objective markers do not show on my map in Skyrim?

When I started playing Skyrim my objective markers would show on the map and disappear after completing the quest. Now whenever I try to make anything my active quest, nothing shows on my map. I thought that it was just certain quests, but it is doing it for every single one. My buddy marks the same quests on his PS3 and the active quests show up on his map. Is this a glitch?

Just make sure the quest you want is active on your Quest Log, it may not always become active when you get that quest. Slick Start and just select the quest line if it's a Primary quest, on the left, and if it is Secondary make sure you select which individual quest it is on the menu on the right.

How many hours of gameplay will be put in to Skyrim?

Im buying Skyrim, but before i buy it, I need a question answered. How many hours of gameplay will be put into the game. Bathesda announced a while back that Skyrim guarantees 300+ hours to complete 100% of their custom made missions but in addition the creation engine they have in Skyrim creates random quests sending you to places you've never been and even once you've been everywhere you'll get collection and assassination as well as raiding quests and likely more dragon quests. Director of Skyrim Todd Howard announced that they called this "radiant quest" and that it would give you not almost infinite quests but literally infinite quests. This game has easily over 500+ hours in it all depending on how much you enjoy living in another world. Todd also announced that there are INFINITE dragons....that's right a never ending stream of them. So you'll always have fun there and you'll know that boss-like fights await you even after game completion. Towns all have an economy and no not like fables more like if ANY crafting building (lumber mill, blacksmith, etc) is destroyed that town, city, or village will have a shortage in everything they make as well as in everything made with what they make. Let's say the lumber mill is destroyed you'd find less staves, arrows, bows and anything else with any kind of wood on it even if they are created by the Blacksmith he had to get the materials from somewhere. Skyrim factors all of this in.

While High Elves get a nice bonus to Magicka, there are plenty of items available in game to boost your magica (apparel that gives sustained boosts, not just temporary potions) so that the 50 point boost to magica is good but not necessary.

Also, the difference between races for the destruction skill is very small... 15 vs 20 or 25. If you use destruction primarily, it will raise up very quickly.

The most important thing to remember as a mage is wear mage robes! They boost your magica and regen, reduce the cost of spells, and work with some perks for extra boosts.

Answer:

Pull up the items menu and select a weapon, spell, or whatever you wish to add to the favorites menu, then select "Favorite" (if your using the Xbox 360 it's the Y button, not sure about other platforms). That's pretty much it. To access the favorites menu in-game, just hit "up" or "down" on the directional pad.

Answer: Just be sure mark this as an active quest. This way you'll be able to find him via the goal marker, if he's left the cave then you'll likely have to do it the long hard way, on foot. Regardless of where he goes the objective marker will always be on him. If a quest is a failure and it is impossible to finish, it'll close on its own if the quest is still open then you can still catch him.

That or reload to a point before you ran into him.

You will have to go to the city of Windhelm. There you will be able to catch a carriage from any stable to get there, then just look for the palace so you can now joing the stormcloaks.

How do you change Skyrim screen size settings?

I've been playing Skyrim since it came out and I haven't been able to find something to fix a problem I've been having. The display doesn't really fit the TV screen. I've tried this on multiple TVs throughout the house and each of them has the same issue; any text near the sides gets cut off, such as things you pick up and when it says what location your at.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Go to your xbox dashboard then to settings. There should be an option that says your screen size is normal. Change it to wide screen. It will look kind of funny but you'll get used to it. Also I would suggest getting the HDMI cables it will make Skyrim look much better.
