So my friend so said that if you clear a cave before getting a quest for it the quest will glitch out... is that true because when i get the game and i find random caves i want to clear them and explore them. should i wait till i get the mission for it or should i clear a cave when i discover one randomly. also is there a mission for each cave?

Answer: I suggest you just explore the caves . The vast majority of caves, tombs and castles don't have quests attached to them. The whole idea behind the Elder Scrolls game is exploration. Don't just do the quests. See an interesting castle on the horizon? Go in and find out what's inside. You'll find so much more if you explore.
