I went through the portal to sovngrade on skyrim....i need to get out of there and get new armor and level up some more becuase everything in that place is to strong for me so.....how can i get out of there?

Answer: You can't until you kill Alduin. If your having trouble then lower the difficulty or if you still can't do it, revert to a previous save before you entered the portal.
Normally if you can clear the temple before the portal then you can finish sovengarde.
