There was a poll that showed what the popularity of different play styles was but i was wondering if anyone could explain what the difference between the thief play style and the assassin play syle in Skyrim?

Answers: They both deal heavily in stealth, so they are similar in that, but nothing else. Thieves are more focused on stealing without being seen. Assassins are meant to get in, and get out like a shade, while taking out their intended target.
